- Develop proper fielding techniques for all types of ground balls.
- Utilize drills to teach agility for all infielders.
- Develop softer hands through drills.
- Improve footwork and ability to throw at all arm angles.
- Drills to develop proper footwork around bag.
- What To Bring: Indoor shoes and glove.
- Develop hitting mechanics using a sequential process.
- Utilize hitting drills to teach new movements.
- Develop hand-eye coordination through hitting drills.
- Improve Techniques used in game-like situations.
- What To Bring: Indoor shoes and bat.
Additional Information:
- Registrations are needed by December 16th.
- If after December 16th, you must contact Doug Brinker at dbrinker@grandview.edu.
- ABSOLUTELY NO Walk-Ins to register, due to exact T-shirt sizes and capping at 54 participants.

2017 Fillies XC Camp
In an effort to continue to promote distance running in our community, the girls Cross Country team will be offering a youth XC camp for 4th-8th grade girls!
Our camp will be primarily focused on fostering a love of running! We will incorporate goal setting, team building, and motivational activities. We will also introduce distance training techniques and racing strategies.
For those that may be interested, our camp will be held Thursday, August 10 and Friday, August 11 from 8:30-11:00 am. The cost of the camp is $45 and includes a t-shirt and instruction. Young Emerging Scientists (Y.E.S.) Summer Camp!
The Y.E.S. camp in the attachment is for girls in 4th - 9th grade focusing
on science, engineering, math and technology. If you cannot open it, let me
know. These workshops are Saturday mornings in July. The Mickle Center is
the Sherman Hills neighborhood in Des Moines. You will see the workshop
offers in the flyer.
