Lifeguards Needed!

The City of Dallas Center is in need of additional lifeguards for the upcoming pool season.

Summer Lifeguards: f/t, p/t, substitute. Min.certifications: American Red Cross Lifeguarding/First Aid, CPR (must have proof of up-to-date certification). Applications may be obtained from our website:http://dallascenter.com/forms/applicationforemployment.pdf. Age requirement is 15. 

We are also still seeking to contract with someone to run the concession stand. Age requirement is 18.

Y.E.S. Spring workshops, the theme is agriculture science.  Our Y.E.S. program manager, Janice Christopher, will take the girls through an excellent module with hands on interaction.  If the weather permits the girls may be able to do half the workshop outside.

   Cost:  $20 for both Saturdays.  Each workshop amounts to $10 per Saturday for approximately 4 hours.
   Where:  Mickle Center, 1620 Pleasant Street
   Time:  9:30 to 12:30 p.m.
  

In April, we will kick off our 3rd year of Math Camp.  Dr. Maria and team have some new and real-life projects that will accompany this camp.  I will not spoil the fun, but just think, financial literacy while learning math concepts.

   Cost:  $40 for 4 Saturday.  Each workshop amounts to $10 per Saturday for approximately 4 hours.
   Where:  Mickle Center, 1620 Pleasant Street
   Time:  9:30 to 1p.m.
